Kyiv Soloists is one of the most important orchestras in the modern Ukrainian music.
Dietmar Stüdemann
It's the only Ukrainian chamber music ensemble whose performances invariably draw large audiences. And the musicians deserve to be loved. They "remove the wigs" from classics and show us Mozart and Beethoven as living people, feeling and loving. Contemporary music featured by the ensemble becomes "understandable. "Besides, they include into their programs a popular classical pieces (which are referred as lowly "popsa” by the academic musicians) – and the Kyiv Soloists are always at their best.
