I am Rev. Jacob Hey. I am also known as Phoenix Suvayas. I'm a legally ordained interfaith scientific Illuminist Minister. Most of my ministry is spent in writing music, making films, creating visual art, writing, and my own personal methods of interacting through the collective unconscious mind of our species by self action and activism. I am a Visual Artist dabbling in all mediums but usually working with Acrylic on canvas, my artistic subjects usually dealing with the mystical and metaphysical, one of my paintings is on display at the local branch of the Theosophical Society. I am a filmmaker, working on an art film composed of a series of 23 music videos to songs I wrote that combine to form a film in five acts. I also hope to work on underground documentaries in the future. I am a writer, having written and organized multiple Zines and a few unpublished books, I have worked on fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and essay works and have dabbled in journalism. I am a Designer, I have Designed and illustrated multiple Websites, Fliers, Banners used at popular demonstrations, Greeting cards, and Book covers etc. I am currently working on 31 Illustrations for an already popular book that is to be republished with my illustrations within the next two years. I am also as you might have seen above, an artistic organizer, I have organized and helped to organize a decent amount of Artistic events over the years including the semi popular Art Not Apathy events,with Organization for Inspiration or O4I, an organization by and for Poets, Artists, Activists, Musicians, Filmmakers and other creative people mainly to organize events in the intent of inspiring positive social and spiritual growth and change and the intent to open a co-operatively owned community arts resource center and help to unionize artists. I am currently working on what I hope will be a very large art program with multiple visual artists on a very touchy and fascinating subject, but that's all I can say about that in public at this time. I have many other plans up my sleeve and can use all the networking and help possible! Spiritually I consider myself a Theosophical Scientific Illuminist, being a recognized member of and lecturer at the Theosophical Society, I take what I find to be true spiritually mostly from certain teachings in the following traditions; Buddhism (Mainly Tibetan), Hinduism, Christianity (Mainly Gnostic and Catholic), Taoism, Native American tradition, Thelemic philosophy, Wiccan and Pagan tradition, Judaism, Kabbalah, Islam, Hermetic traditions and Mystery schools, Ancient Egyptian Metaphysics, Jainism, Bahai tradition, and a few others as well. All of course with a healthy balance of Scientific understanding and Socratic skepticism. One of my many plans was, and may one day be again, to open up a ‘Theosophical Church” as it were, a non-dogmatic, non-partisan spiritual forum for representatives of all Religious and spiritual traditions.
