I am Nakia Y. Quarles, CWP ~ the Executive A&R for Metal 2 Music Records/Metal 2 Music Entertainment Management, Certified Wedding & Events Planner and Owner of ~N~ Motion Events and Shoez~N~Motion. I started with Metal 2 Music as the East Coast Affiliate Event & Entertainment Management Liaison, combining my skills and knowledge from my event planning business and my extensive knowledge in the hotel/tourism industry with entertainment management. Soon after, I began to Talent Scout for the label, seeking artists for airplay, interviews, and roster consideration. Under the very structured guiding and mentorship of Metal 2 Music Executive, Franz "Sincere" Ates, I advanced into a Music Business Consultant, an Artist Development Representative, Artist Management, and the current position as Executive A&R of Entertainment Management. I am also the chief promoter and handle the marketing and advertising for the label. Every Sunday and Wednesday, at 6:30pmEST, I conduct live interviews with guests, as a host or co-host on Independent Everything, our globally produced blog talk radio show. I am in charge of acquiring artists and entrepreneurs for live interviews. Responsible also for the overseeing of all communications between artists and Metal 2 Music Records to ensure airtime runs smoothly. The creating of the episodes for the show and running of the dashboard is done by me also. (7:00pmEST) What started as a little fun with my love for singing, has turned in to six diverse tracks, five that were released on the "Confirmed" album by Franz The Hybrid One. Be on the look out for my solo projects, "Him" (EP), released 02/14/2015 and "The Hybrid Queen" (album), to be released Summer 2015, on the Metal 2 Music Records/SMG label. I reside on the East Coast, a divorced, yet not single, mother of three wonderful young men, who range between the ages of twenty and nine and one dynamic drama queen who is fourteen.
